WHO WE ARE.

The Nigerian Voice Newspaper is a Nigerian community newspaper in South Africa registered and established in 2010 with Registration Number: 2010/101928/23 and ISSN Number 2218-8592. We are a fully up to date Tax compliance organization in South Africa. The Nigerian Voice Newspaper is the only Nigerian community newspaper in South Africa as at today, and the only diaspora community newspaper in South Africa using the name of its country of origin as its title.

The Publication started out as a monthly hard-copy print newspaper but because of the high cost of print, and advantage of online presence as well as its wider reach we have transformed into a quarterly print newspaper as well as having a strong online presence.

The Nigerian Voice Newspaper is committed to the positive representation of Nigeria and the protection of her dignity using the platform of the media.  For us, this has become a passionate commitment in view of the negative views and stereotypes about Nigerians at home and abroad. We do this through people's enlightenment and empowerment using informative and educative stories, features and interviews as well as re-orientation of people's perception about Nigeria and Nigerians. We are a non political, religious or government critic media outfit.

Some of our core objectives are to appropriately inform and empower the Nigerian community in South Africa and world over about happenings and as such we have become the most trusted medium between Nigerians in South Africa and the Nigerian Diplomatic Missions.

As South African-based newspaper, we are also committed to the continuous promotion of peaceful and mutually beneficial co-existence between Nigerians and South Africans everywhere in South Africa. We will also use the medium to encourage and strengthen socio-economic ties between Nigeria and South Africa by serving as a meeting point for individual entrepreneurs, small and large businesses, development partners and multinationals companies in both countries.

A strong indication of our relevance and position within the Nigerian community have made us become a voice and representative of our community in a lot of government and private organized seminars, workshops and top corporate events in South Africa.

The publication has had the privilege to interview Presidents, Governors, Senators, Ministers, decision makers, Ambassadors, Diplomats and other political leaders as well as successful entrepreneurs.

His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari - President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria granted the publication an exclusive interview during his first official visits to South Africa to attend the African Union Summit in 2015.

In the same light the Vice President of Nigeria His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo also granted the publication an exclusive interview during his first visit to South Africa as the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2016. It is also important to state the appointment of the newspaper as media partners to the last Diaspora committee of Nigeria's Federal House of Representatives under the chairmanship of Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, now the Senior Special Adviser on Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This says a lot about the publication’s positioning and professionalism.

Our services are targeted at individuals and corporate organisations in all sectors. Being Nigeria's first and only newspaper in South Africa and in our quest to become the most respected and widely read Nigerian newspaper in the Diaspora, we will continue to redefine standards and stretch limits as a global voice.

We will continue to make generous and focused investments in skills development, creativity and exposition in a bid to positively showcase and represent Nigeria at the global arena. We are also very passionate about social development and have evolved a strong social responsibility focus which is aimed at building a generation of Nigerians that have access to excellent role models. In line with our objective in focused investments, skills development, creativity and exposition we are proudly the organizers of Nigeria Community Excellence Awards and Nigeria Community Conference in South Africa.
